Project Highlights: User Interface Design / The Best is Yet to Come

Razer's founding vision was to be the world's greatest gaming brand. They've achieved just that in just a over a decade — and proceeded to grow into an international business with offices in nine countries — by designing "the best gaming products any gamer has ever seen."

Their gear is bar none. Their product launch timeline reads like a wiki search for "world's first." Sensing a kindred spirit in our mutual obsession with user experience and great design, Razer called on us to bring their software design up to par with their sleek and powerful product line.

User Interface Design

The second version of Razer's Synapse software would be the world's first cloud-based setting network for gamers. In plain English, that means gamers can configure their equipment at home, and the software will remember their custom settings when they plug in elsewhere.

Synapse 2.0 represented a big step up in functionality. The goal was to complement these back-end improvements with a slick new interface.

The Best is Yet to Come

There’s a running joke around the office that the cooler the project, the longer we have to wait to talk about it. Our work for Razer is a prime example. Stay tuned!
